Afterglo Pilates

I’m Shae and together with my husband Nae we are the founders of Afterglo Pilates. 

I have been teaching Pilates for over 8 years now, but I found my love for the method a few years prior to that. It was the first exercise modality where I couldn’t miss my session no matter what tried to get in the way. I felt so strong mentally and physically for the first time in a long time and as a busy mother of 3 it was just the escape I needed to switch off and get some me time. And that is what I want for you too, to be able to switch off from your busy life and dedicate 50 min to moving and taking care of your body and your mind too.

My teaching philosophy is to just show up and give it a shot. It doesn't matter what the person next to you can or can't do but it is about giving it a go and having fun whilst doing it. I believe in not only strengthening our bodies through pilates but also mobilising them through moving our spine through all planes of movements, this is where you truly get to experience the benefits of pilates.
